This has been a long time coming. I started a bunch of pique assiette mosaic projects over the spring/summer and then lost steam. My friend Sherry expressed interest in this a few months ago - she joked that I needed to make it for her birthday. Her birthday was last week and I remembered her request at the last minute.... so I hustled through a few mosaic-y nights.

Its good to accomplish something. And its a nice feeling when my art finds a new home.
