Will you still love me....

...when I'm 34?

Today is my birthday. Only a couple of people, other than my family, remembered (and, besides my mom and grandma, that was under duress).

Most of my friends get lots of birthday greetings on their Myspace pages. Clearly they don't reciprocate. I got a funny comment from one of my HS pals, a dorky message from one of my ex boyfriends and otherwise zilch. It's only 9 pm but I don't think I'm going to hold out hope for more than that.

Don't you all know I'm terribly shallow? Popularity is important to me and things aren't working out on this front.

I did get a nice card from a family friend who I hardly ever see but who always remembers.

Once you get past 21, it's all downhill. :(

I feel like crying.

Comments:
I am sorry sweetie...I still remembered...it only seems like yesterday but your age is a reminder to me how my life is speeding by. I love you and will make sure I spoil you when I get to see you...I love you!

i've been busy and haven't been by for a few days - a belated HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! friends that don't reciprocate aren't very good friends, are they? i'm not on myspace. facebook sends reminders... clearly geared towards people who don't remember. oh - and my mother doesn't always remember my birthday.

Thanks so much for the belated greetings!!! I've been telling everyone, "late" is better than "never". :o)
myspace has a birthday reminder feature too... I think maybe it only shows the week of a person's birthday tho and its gone the day after. Since mine was on a Sunday I'm thinking ppl never saw it. oh well!
And... ahem... several weeks ago MY mother seemed to think I was going to be 35. I made her do the math! lol!

Awww, I'm so sorry! I thought of you, I remembered the day. My internet is finally up in my new place (can't wait for you to come visit!!). But, I'm a bad friend. Just a bad week, but you weren't forgotten. I'm sorry I was late.

<33333333,
Isa
