The end of an era

Well, a short era, that is. Today my friend Isabel left for CA. She's going back home for a new start. For that reason, I am excited for her and probably a little envious. But I'm also devastated because I will miss her so much.
I drove her to the airport this morning and although I was sure I would cry, I managed not to. Of course now, I'm feeling all weepy.
Since I know she'll eventually read this, I thought I would list all the great things I associate with our friendship... a la Senior Will and Testament style (I never did one of those my senior year but I think its oh so appropriate)...
"Being of unsound mind and Geritol-needful body, I, Stephanie Cake, bequeth to XOIsabel the following:
- A truckload of creepy dolls.
- Many fruitful trips to Ryan's Relics.
- A million thrift-o-rama weekends.
- Laughter at our own expense (I've tried to block out the rollerblading incident but, alas... LOL!).
- Armloads of weird crap from the Book Thing (back before it was all organized of course).
- A healthy obsession with Charm City Rollergirls. Even tho I don't want to be one anymore.
- More art supplies than you could ever use in twelve lifetimes.
- Damn, the booty don't stop! and other useful cach phrases.
- Monkey in the middle with Connor @ Worthington and sharing my revulsion of wet bathroom floors.
- A case of Tranny Honey. You never know when you're gonna need it.
- All of the trash Cheryl throws away in her craft room. We can always make art with that shit.
- On that note, the need to never bring a single art/craft supply to Cheryl's since she owns more than we do... and organizes it better.
- Stacks of vintage playboy, French fashion magazines and other softcore porn-y goodness.
- A whole dictionary of inventive curses.. most learned from Deadwood.
- A closet full of shoes and a pair of rollerblades you've only worn once. "
Good luck on your journey, chica. You don't need it because I know you will make awesomeness wherever you go, but buena suerte, nonetheless.
