P.S.
Last nite I saw the movie P.S. with Laura Linney and Topher Grace. I think it was based on a book of the same title.... the premise was pretty interesting but unfortunately there was so much that seemed to be missing. Afterwards, I watched the deleted scenes which kind of explained some things but it was still largely imperfect.
Still, despite its imperfections, there was still something about the movie that really touched me. Not sure if it was undercurrent of dissatisfaction and raw emotion in Laura Linney's character's life. Or the fact that it was about an art school admissions officer and an MFA candidate. Or the whole older woman/younger man thing, which speaks to my wannabe-MILF sensibilities.
The cast was absolute perfection... Topher Grace (cutelittlehottie), Gabriel Byrne (theaccentmakes mepurr), Paul Rudd (myfuturebabydaddy), Marcia Gay Harden (sosexyquirkyIddoher). But by far the best part of the movie is the totally hot sex scene on a couch between Laura Linney and Topher Grace - real time, no soundtrack, urgent and embarrassing all at the same time.... definitely not the sweet, vanilla network TV couplings of Eric and Donna on That 70's Show.
