And here it is. The long awaited tattoo. I still need to get the color in the peacocks. That will happen in November.

The answers to your burning questions...
- Yes it is huge. It's on my back.
- Yes it hurt. But not as bad as childbirth. Or a root canal.
- Yes the hand has meaning to me but its kind of hard to explain.
- The peacocks are a symbol of prosperity. They don't have deep meaning to me but they are going to be very pretty and colorful when they are done and I thought they balanced the hand in a cool way.
- Yes, I designed it. But my tattoo guy re-drew some of it to work better as a tattoo design.
- My tattoo guy is very cool. His hobby is barbeque-ing.

Ok so you probably weren't wondering about that last thing but I thought it was worth sharing.

I've been seriously delinquent in picture taking and blog updating. My totally awesome SP from SP11 sent me this great loot. Two skeins of sock yarn and one mini-skein. Two bags of tea that smell soooo good (along with a tea ball... cuz she knows I'm an uncultured American who only drinks tea that is wrapped in a napkin and stapled to a string), some yummy fizzy candies (they taste like sweet tarts on speed - Wheee!!!!) and.... wait for it.... wait for it.... SQUIRREL STITCH MARKERS. I think I'm in love with her. :o)

My new hair courtesy of Daniel the Awesome at About Faces in Canton. Perfect highlights. Perfect layers. Sigh.

I wish I could get my hair to look like this on my own. I have the products. I have the ginormous round hairbrush. I have the toumaline ionic hairdryer that cost more than my 1st car. But I can't get it to work. At least I have this picture to prove my hair does this for SOMEONE.
